Overview
The University of Florida is hiring an IT Analyst II to coordinate information security across UF Health Science Center colleges and clinical operations. The role involves supporting IT governance, risk management, compliance, user education, and disaster avoidance efforts while engaging in application and system evaluation and planning.
Responsibilities- Coordinate information security for UF Health Science Center and clinical operations.
- Support IT governance by maintaining enterprise policies, standards, and best practices.
- Conduct IT risk analysis and report findings to stakeholders.
- Assist with IT compliance to internal and external governing bodies.
- Support education and training on IT security for staff.
- Participate in developing IT disaster avoidance and incident response programs.
- Use problem solving, analytical thinking, and workflow analysis skills.
- Associate's degree with 2 years relevant experience or high school diploma with 4 years relevant experience required.
- Preferred candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and has information security experience.
- Expected salary is $75,000 annually;
Level II background check required.
