This entry-level role sits within UF Information Technology's Data Platform and Analytics unit, helping steward institutional data responsibly across accuracy, ethics, and value extraction. The analyst enforces governance policies, resolves duplicate identity records, and curates metadata and taxonomies alongside the university's Identity Services team.
Highlights- Implement and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Monitor compliance with data-quality, security, and privacy requirements.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve duplicate identity records using profile matching and manual review.
- Produce reports and dashboards on identity data for stakeholders like the registrar, finance, and IT.
- Curate metadata schemas and data taxonomies using library science methodologies.
- Associate's degree, or a high school diploma plus two years of relevant experience.
- Basic proficiency in SQL, Python, or R preferred.
- $61,000 salary, commensurate with education and experience.
