UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a professional level Advanced Linux Infrastructure Platform Engineer to join the Infrastructure & Communication Technology team within UFIT. Competitive candidates will be self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn with outstanding communication skills. You will lead medium to large projects and coordinate teams responsible for maintenance, installation, configuration, and deployment of enterprise-wide infrastructure and software systems.

• Linux Administration of Enterprise Applications
• People Soft maintenance and administration
• Scripting and automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Git Lab, etc.
• Large scale Linux administration
• Assist Linux Platform Team in architecture and implementation
• Provide leadership, advice, and recommendations on enterprise systems administration and management technologies
• Mentor and cultivate fellow talented staff members
