Inventory Control Coordinator

PFG Customized seeks an Inventory Control Coordinator to support our Food & Beverage Operations in the Inventory Management department. This role manages daily inventory counts, investigates variances, and maintains accurate stock records for high-volume food service products. The coordinator will reconcile system data, coordinate with warehouse and purchasing teams, and ensure FIFO and food safety standards are followed. You'll analyze usage trends, support cycle counts and audits, and recommend process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory counts and reconciliations for food and beverage products
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and adjust records in WMS/ERP systems
• Maintain accurate stock levels, item master data, and location integrity
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, and transportation teams to resolve issues
• Ensure FIFO, FEFO, and food safety/quality guidelines are followed in storage practices
• Support and lead scheduled cycle counts and periodic physical inventories
• Analyze inventory usage, shrink, and trends to recommend process improvements
• Create and maintain inventory reports and KPIs for management review
• Assist with slotting, replenishment planning, and space utilization
• Document and improve inventory control procedures and best practices
