Custodial Worker I

• Cleans and maintains on a daily basis all halls, offices, shops, classrooms, restrooms, conference rooms, labs, gym areas, locker rooms and elevators. Duties include sweeping, dusting, dust‑mopping, wet‑mopping, spot‑mopping, reconditioning of floors, spot washing and cleaning of walls, doors and partitions.
• Maintains all floors and floor coverings, performing regular duties such as vacuuming, shampooing, striping, sealing and waxing.
• Cleans all entrances, entrance walks, steps, patios and concourses.
• Spot‑cleans and cleans all exterior and interior glass surfaces of assigned buildings; cleans ceiling lights and Venetian blinds.
• Empties and cleans all waste cans, trash cans, recycle bins, water fountains and doormats.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Criminal background check and physical examination required.

5:00 AM to 1:30 PM (Monday‑Friday). Workdays and shift times may vary in response to customer needs for special event coverage or departmental needs. Some overtime may be required. Total hours per week is 40. Management retains the right and discretion to modify schedules, building assignments, shifts and days for operational purposes.

$15.00 hourly

Completion of ninth grade.

High school diploma and two (2) years of commercial custodial experience.
