Facilities Specialist

Life South Community Blood Centers is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, and responsible individual to join our team as a Facilities Specialist in Gainesville, FL
. This position is responsible for assisting with activities related to the overall cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of the company's facility and grounds.

• Thoroughly clean offices, buildings, annexes, break rooms, bathrooms and hallway areas as needed, including dusting, glass cleaning, window cleaning, stain removal, floor care, etc.
• Inspect all assigned areas daily and report any additional issues
• Assist with basic grounds maintenance as needed
• Assist with periodic checks of facility ventilation and security systems as recommended by manufacturer guidelines to ensure proper functionality

• Valid driver's license. Must also meet and maintain Life South driver's eligibility requirements
• General knowledge of building cleaning and maintenance
• Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance and upkeep
• Ability to organize and manage time effectively
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One year of experience at a Life South facility or two years of facilities experience preferred

This is a full‑time position. Starting salary range is $14.00–$15.40 per hour. A criminal background check, pre‑employment physical and drug screen are required upon conditional offer of hire.
