The Collier Companies is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team. This is an on-site role, reporting from one of The Collier Companies’ community offices in Gainesville. Gainesville offers beautiful natural areas, a temperate climate, and educational, cultural, and commercial opportunities. Assistant Maintenance Manager is an expert at troubleshooting, identifying problems, providing solutions, and assisting the Service Manager and team. Responsibilities could include repairs in areas such as appliances, HVAC, electrical, drywall, pool, and more. Are you a born leader who instills confidence in those you mentor?

Your Skills - Show Us What You Got:
- Experience as a maintenance technician for at least 1 year
- Supervisory experience strongly preferred (for management positions)
- Apartment housing experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing & HVAC
- Organized, efficient, and detail-oriented to complete work orders
- Universal EPA certification required
- Commitment to emergency-on-call rotation
- Proven track record of excellent customer service
- Assistant Maintenance Managers must have basic tools and be able to pass a basic maintenance test
- Must have reliable transportation
The position is Full-Time. Some overtime will be required especially during turnover season.
