.

Alachua Academy is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving moderate risk female youth aged 12 to 18 who require behavioral, mental health and substance abuse services. The programs utilize evidence‑based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling, while at the program.

Pay: $50,000 annually.

Day in the Life: The Shift Supervisor is a member of the Site Management Team. Primarily responsible for the daily management and supervisory control of Group Living operations under the supervision of the Director of Group Living and/or Program Director. Ensures ROP programs are being implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State, and Local licensing requirements. This position must have full and direct supervision of a minimum of two full‑time employees.

Qualifications: The following qualifications are required:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Public/Business Administration, Behavioral Science, Counseling, Secondary Education, Health, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social/Human Services, or any equivalent combination of years’ experience, education, and/or training that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Three (3) years of experience in juvenile treatment (Residential, Behavioral, Detention, Corrections, etc.). Related and/or equivalent experience may be substituted with approval.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience.
• Must meet all individual state‑specific licensing requirements in addition to ROP requirements regarding education and experience.
• Military experience and training are acceptable.
