Director, or Senior Director

The University of Florida is hiring a Director or Senior Director of Advancement to lead and manage the College of Public Health & Health Professions' development and alumni engagement initiatives. This role directs fundraising strategies, major and leadership giving, and volunteer board management while collaborating closely with college leadership and UF Advancement to meet shared philanthropy goals and enhance alumni connections.

• Lead all aspects of fundraising and alumni relations for the College of Public Health & Health Professions.
• Manage a broad portfolio including major gifts, development communications, and volunteer board oversight.
• Report jointly to the Assistant Vice President of Advancement for UF Health Science Center and the Dean of PHHP.
• Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree with 3-6 years (Director/Senior Director) of development experience and supervisory experience.
• Preferred skills include at least 6-8 years of major gift fundraising with successful solicitation of $100,000+ gifts and campaign experience.
• Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, internet browsers, email, and donor/contact management databases.
• Salary ranges from $110,000 to $115,000 for Director and $124,000 to $158,000 for Senior Director, commensurate with experience.
• Oversee strategic planning, staff management, budgeting, and collaboration with college and UF Advancement leadership.
• Serve a network of over 22,000 alumni with strategic engagement and fundraising efforts.
• Ability and willingness to travel with valid driver's license required.
