Overview
The Project Manager provides consulting services for our multi-use facility client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. This job is part of the Project Management function. The Project Manager is responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion, which include both ground-up and facility infrastructure construction projects. The role may require up to 50% regional travel, predominantly in the Eastern Time Zone.
Responsibilities- Manage all areas of project management for singular real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
- Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project: scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
- Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process, conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
- Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
- Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
- Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals.
- Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule; track project progress and report status and variances.
- Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans; implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
- Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of one's job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values; build consensus and convince others to reach agreement.
- Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within the team and related teams.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5‑8 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
- Ground‑up construction and MEP infrastructure experience strongly desired.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Kahua or similar project management software and D365 or other ERP platform.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
- Sophisticated math skills; ability to calculate mild complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
