About the roleThe Facilities/Project Manager oversees all operations related to security, maintenance, groundskeeping, and general caretaking of the facility. This position ensures that all services are performed according to contract requirements and that the campus remains secure, functional, and visually appealing.
What you'll do- Oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and safety of the center.
- Ensure the safety and security of the facility, property, and personnel.
- Act as the primary liaison between the site, the Regional Office, and the Corporate Office, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Foster a positive and professional relationship with staff, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Communicate company policies, updates, and expectations to staff and ensure alignment with operational goals.
- Hire, train, supervise and monitor performance of staff.
- Provide regular feedback to encourage growth and accountability.
- Implement disciplinary actions when necessary and in alignment with company policies.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on facility conditions, maintenance schedules, staffing, and incidents.
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Ensure all administrative records are up-to-date, including vendor contracts, compliance documents, and maintenance logs.
- Monitor controlled access to the property and review security incident reports.
- Conduct safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with local emergency services for fire drills, inspections, and incident management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements.
- At least ten (10) years of progressive facilities and personnel management experience
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance.

The pay range for this role is:
72,000 - 79,000 USD per year (Gainesville)
