Job Summary

Sciens Building Solutions is looking for an experienced Fire Systems Project Manager (PM) to lead the execution of low‑voltage system projects. The PM will ensure projects stay within budget, meet code compliance, and deliver high‑quality field operations while collaborating closely with sales, installation, and client teams to achieve sound design, seamless installation, and professional commissioning.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all project phases, coordinating workers, materials, and equipment to keep specifications on track and projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Review design drawings for conformance with regulations, project specifications, and local and national standards.
  • Provide support, guidance, and expertise to field operations and engineering teams.
  • Manage project schedules and manpower planning forecasts.
  • Interface with customers—including contractors, end users, and fire marshals.
  • Project manage and coordinate installations and commissioning for assigned projects.
  • Perform field surveys and read and interpret system designs on blueprints.
  • Read and interpret project specifications.
  • Estimate and propose change orders on projects.
  • Provide monthly budget updates, including cost to complete.
  • Handle project financials, including job costs, billing, and execution to estimated gross margins.
  • Work in a team environment and exhibit leadership qualities.

The PM also serves as the primary customer interface, managing staff relationships and maintaining strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications
  • Two to five years of experience with commercial fire detection and suppression systems.
  • Two to five years of project management experience in the fire and security industry.
  • In‑depth technical knowledge of fire alarm, suppression, and security systems.
  • NICET Level II certification.
  • Strong working knowledge of NFPA
    72 code requirements.
  • Customer‑focused with strong project and people management skills.
  • Ability to manage job scheduling and progress efficiently, with a focus on quality.
  • Proficient in issue resolution.
  • Excellent organizational, decision‑making, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
