Fire Sprinkler Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the execution of fire and life safety system projects. This position will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed in accordance with budgets and code compliance while managing the field operations team. The role involves close collaboration with sales teams, installation teams, and clients to facilitate sound design, seamless installation, and professional project commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight for all project phases, including coordinating workers, materials, and equipment.
  • Manage project financials, including job costs, billing, and ensuring execution to estimated gross margins.
  • Maintain open communication with customers, contractors, and project partners.
  • Handle budgeting, track financials, and manage projects and technicians using tools like Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Update manpower planning tools and provide monthly updates to project budgets.
  • Comply with industry-standard procedures and company safety policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in the fire protection industry, with a preference for fire sprinkler systems.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage budgets, financials, and personnel.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to read and interpret system designs on blueprints and project specifications.
  • A positive attitude and strong character.
  • Excellent organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five to ten years of fire sprinkler management experience.
  • NICET certification is preferred.
