Position Summary

Repairs all mechanical breakdowns, performs PM’s, installation of equipment and general maintenance duties for ride dynamics products (primarily off‑road vehicles and trucks).

Position Responsibilities
  • Use an electrical meter for basics such as checking voltage and ohms
  • Wire in single phase motors, receptacles and sensors
  • Knowledge of mechanical/electrical repair on CNC equipment
  • Identify and repair pneumatic/hydraulic systems
  • Troubleshoot and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to read part manual, electrical and mechanical schematics, assembly instructions and troubleshooting guides
  • Familiarity with operating and setting up CNC equipment
  • Helps install new equipment with the direction of engineering/layouts
  • Moderate troubleshooting skills on all types of production equipment for worn/misaligned tooling and mechanical failures
  • CMMS experience
  • Safely drive a forklift carrying machinery and heavy loads
  • Operate a manual mill and lathe with basic skills
  • Maintain a minimum of 80% compliance rate on assigned PM’s
  • Ensure that all safety requirements and LOTO are followed at all times
  • Communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
  • CMMS must log at a minimum of 80% of all worked hours in PM’s, planned and unplanned work orders for a period of no less than 3 consecutive months
  • Able to use all types of gauges – pressure, calipers, depth, etc.
  • Familiar with PLC–based controller/interface machinery
  • Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives
  • Must be a proficient FOX Level 2 Maintenance Technician
Position Qualifications
Education

High school diploma and manufacturer OEM training.

Experience

4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability in industrial maintenance required

Must have a very broad background in hydraulics and pneumatics

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Manufacturing Environment
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
  • Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
