Assistant Director of Marketing Marketing & Promotions

Position Responsibilities

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is searching for two Assistant Directors to serve as the primary marketing contact and marketing lead for assigned sport(s). Responsible for creating comprehensive marketing plans with a focus on ticket sales, attendance driving initiatives, fan experience enhancement strategies, and brand awareness. These positions have additional responsibilities on Football game days and support other sports as needed.

These positions require the incumbents to have strong customer service, problem‑solving, interpersonal, and communication skills; excel in a dynamic, fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment; work independently and as part of a collaborative team; multitask effectively and meet deadlines; engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds; and work a non‑standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, holidays, and potential overnight travel.

• Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field
• Two years of marketing experience at a collegiate or professional level
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Photoshop
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with game presentation, sponsorship activation, project management, and digital marketing
• Working knowledge of SEC and NCAA rules and regulations
