The University of Florida is hiring a Social Media & Communications Coordinator for the Digital Worlds Institute within the College of the Arts. The role involves managing social media platforms, creating marketing content, and collaborating with the Multimedia Producer to develop visually engaging communications that support the Institute’s outreach and brand messaging.
Highlights- Manage and execute social media marketing content calendar across Instagram, Linked In, and other platforms.
- Create on-brand graphics and designs using Canva for social posts, event flyers, and newsletters.
- Write blog posts, student and alumni spotlights, and newsletter copy to support communication goals.
- Collaborate with the Multimedia Producer to ensure consistent brand messaging and high-quality visual assets.
- Coordinate interviews and content features with the campus community.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Linked In) and Canva required.
- Must be a currently enrolled University of Florida student with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Commitment of 10 hours per week for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters is required.
- Hourly compensation of $15.
- Preferred skills include social media management tools, content creation, critical thinking, and excellent verbal communication.
