OPS Res Ast - Digital Communications Specialist (Science & Practice)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (X, Linked In, Instagram, etc.)
- Design and maintain engaging, user-friendly websites and landing pages
- Create visually striking graphics, infographics, and digital assets for reports, campaigns, and events
- Translate scientific findings into accessible, audience-tailored content, including developing podcasts and media releases
- Collaborate with internal teams to support outreach, dissemination, and knowledge translation
- Monitor analytics and optimize content for reach and engagement
Expected Salary: $20.00 - $24.00/hr, commensurate with education/experience

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
- Experience managing social media accounts and campaigns
- Strong interactional skills to work with scientists, clinicians, and trainees to develop content
- Strong web design skills (Word Press, Squarespace, or similar platforms)
- Ability to synthesize and communicate scientific information clearly
- Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling abilities
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design
Preferred
- Background in science communication, public health, psychology, or related fields
- Experience with video editing or animation
- Knowledge of digital marketing analytics
