Marketing Strategist
In this role you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of state-level marketing strategies that support business goals, strengthen agency relationships, and drive market growth. Serves as the primary marketing resource within the state while partnering with Enterprise Marketing to leverage shared capabilities, resources, and expertise.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following. Other Duties May Be Assigned.
- Develop and execute state-specific marketing strategies and initiatives aligned with company objectives, creating or coordinating marketing campaigns, content, and materials as needed to support business goals.
- Design and implement marketing strategies across wide variety of mediums.
- Design and create promotional material for wide variety of purposes and events
- Serve as the primary marketing liaison for state leadership, agents, and business partners.
- Maintain a deep understanding of local market conditions, competitive activity, and growth opportunities
- Identify marketing needs, campaign opportunities, and business priorities within the state.
- Lead execution of state-level marketing programs and initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents and key stakeholders to support business goals.
- Support website content updates and collaborate with IT or external vendors when needed.
- Provide market insights and recommendations through participation in internal marketing committees.
- Partner with Enterprise Marketing to leverage analytics, content, creative, and project management resources.
- Monitor marketing performance and collaborate with analytics lead to evaluate effectiveness and improve results.
- Ensure all marketing activities align with brand standards, business priorities, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, community organizations, and marketing partners as needed to support state objectives.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Education and/or
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Advertising or Business Management or related field
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant marketing experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of professional marketing experience, with experience in strategic marketing planning, campaign execution, stakeholder management, and business partnership responsibilities.
Skills/Ability
- Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, tools, platforms, and best practices to support effective marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Ability to develop and execute marketing initiatives that support business goals.
- Demonstrated written communication skills
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills
- Knowledge of digital, social, and traditional marketing channels and tactics.
- Develop and deliver effective presentations.
- Ability to work within tight time frames and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to effectively use marketing tools, technologies and resources to support business goals.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles and performance management.
- Analyze marketing challenges and opportunities and develop creative, market-driven solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
