We’re hiring a skilled and patient-focused Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg RN (Day Shift) to join a high-performing cardiac step-down / telemetry unit in Gainesville, FL
. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with experience in cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and acute care nursing
.

• Provide direct care to patients on a cardiac telemetry / Med-Surg unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms (EKG/telemetry) and respond to changes
• Manage patients with cardiac conditions (CHF, arrhythmias, post-MI, post-procedure care)
• Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and care planning
• Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients on cardiac health, medications, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance with protocols

• Active Florida RN license (or compact)
• 1+ year of RN experience (Telemetry, Cardiac, or Med-Surg preferred)
• Strong skills in telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, and patient assessment
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
