Job SummaryCapable clinician with previous specialty experience preferred. Focuses on expanding knowledge and skillset while consistently providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients. Seeks and provides feedback for improved clinical practice, performs an emerging bedside leadership role, and participates in PNGC councils, nursing quality teams, and unit councils to enhance NDNQI indicators, RN satisfaction, employee engagement, safety culture, and patient experience.
Works collaboratively with the care team to recruit and retain an excellent nursing staff.
New Graduate ExpectationsFor new graduate clinical RN, focus is on developing knowledge and skills and demonstrating growth in caring for increasingly complex patients. Direct and safe patient care based on the nursing process is provided, and assigned patient care is coordinated on the shift to promote clinical outcomes, requiring consultation with experienced clinicians and acceptance of constructive feedback.
Minimum Job Qualifications- Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
- Associate’s Degree, ADN or Diploma required.
- At least 1 year of RN experience with demonstrated competence in RN I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire.
- BSN preferred.
- Preferred educational or experiential background (as applicable).

- Effectively communicates with patients, families, and colleagues at all levels, showing respect and fostering customer service.
- Effectively prioritizes, recognizes problems, and utilizes evidence‑based practice.
