American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CVOR (Cardiovascular OR) position in Gainesville, FL, requiring at least 1 year of CVOR experience and active FL or compact RN licensure.
Requirements- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
- Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR experience required
- RN circulating experience required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Two professional references required (Florida requirement)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Work in a 3‑OR Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) within an acute care hospital setting
- Patient ratio is 1:1
- Staffed alongside Surgical Techs and RNs
- Procedures performed include CABG, TAVR, and VATS
- Documentation system is Meditech
- Schedule consists of four 10‑hour shifts (6:00 AM–4:30 PM) with on‑call requirements
- 12‑week contract
- Circulating RN responsibilities in an open heart/cardiovascular OR setting
- Facility scrubs are provided
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- The facility is part of a large regional healthcare organization offering comprehensive cardiovascular, oncology, orthopedic, neuroscience, and surgical services
