Neurology Registered Nurse (RN) | Gainesville, FL | $60K–$90K
We’re hiring a compassionate and detail-oriented Neurology RN to join a growing neuroscience / stroke care team in Gainesville, FL
. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with experience or interest in neurological disorders, stroke care, and neuro patient management in an acute care setting
.
- Provide direct care to patients with neurological conditions (stroke, seizures, TBI, neurodegenerative disorders)
- Perform comprehensive neuro assessments (GCS, neuro checks) and monitor changes in condition
- Administer medications and support post-stroke and neuro recovery care plans
- Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance with protocols
- Active Florida RN license (or compact)
- 1+ year of RN experience (neuro, Med-Surg, or acute care preferred)
- Strong interest or experience in neurology / stroke care
- BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
- Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Competitive salary $60K–$90K + benefits
