Pediatric CNA

Tender Care Medical Services is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center (PPEC) providing compassionate, specialized care for medically complex children. Join our dedicated team and help children thrive in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

We are seeking a Full‑Time CNA for our newest Gaineville location who is compassionate, attentive, and passionate about pediatric healthcare. You will provide hands‑on care, monitor patient health, and supervise structured activities while working alongside licensed nurses and healthcare professionals.

• Full‑time, Flexible scheduling Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Combination of patient care and supervision of morning/afternoon patient transportation (no driving required)

• Assist children with daily living activities: bathing, feeding, repositioning, diaper changes, toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, report concerns to supervising nurse
• Provide emotional support: rocking, holding, soothing
• Supervise structured indoor and outdoor play activities
• Ensure safety during patient transportation supervision (no driving)
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and OSHA protocols
• Maintain patient and staff safety, confidentiality, and wellbeing

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License, or willingness to obtain within 90 days
• 1 year of verifiable childcare experience (outside family care)
• CPR Certification (current or willing to obtain)
• Willingness to obtain Level 2 Background Screening Clearance:
• Patience and compassion when working with children with behavioral or developmental challenges
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay attentive in a busy healthcare setting
• Strong observation skills and teamwork
