Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg RN (Days) | Gainesville, FL | $60K–$90K
OverviewWe’re hiring a skilled and patient-focused Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg RN (Day Shift) to join a high-performing cardiac step-down / telemetry unit in Gainesville, FL
. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with experience in cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and acute care nursing
.
- Provide direct care to patients on a cardiac telemetry / Med-Surg unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms (EKG/telemetry) and respond to changes
- Manage patients with cardiac conditions (CHF, arrhythmias, post-MI, post-procedure care)
- Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and care planning
- Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients on cardiac health, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance with protocols
- Active Florida RN license (or compact)
- 1+ year of RN experience (Telemetry, Cardiac, or Med-Surg preferred)
- Strong skills in telemetry monitoring, cardiac care, and patient assessment
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Competitive salary $60K–$90K + benefits
