The Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) plays a vital role as a clinical expert and key leader within the Adult Emergency Department, focusing on excellence in patient care, staff development, and evidence-based practices. Key Responsibilities- Act as a clinical expert and resource for nursing staff in the unit.
- Provide leadership in patient care delivery, ensuring adherence to high-quality, evidence-based practices.
- Analyze patient acuity, care trends, and quality benchmarks to anticipate staffing and care requirements.
- Partner with nursing leadership to facilitate operational and clinical decision-making.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction.
- Identify and address the educational and competency needs of the nursing staff.
- Promote and support nursing research, innovation, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care coordination and patient outcomes.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, patient advocacy, and continuous improvement.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required; candidates actively enrolled in an MSN program will also be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant clinical specialty.
- Proven ability to practice autonomously and manage patient care outcomes effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence practice and champion the adoption of evidence-based care.
- National nursing certification required within 6 months of hire.
