Overview
Full-Time Registered Nurse - Pulmonary candidates will have the following job responsibilities:
Responsibilities- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
- Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
- Act as an advocate for patient safety
- Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
- Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay
- 1 year of recent (within the last 2 years) Acute Care RN Experience Required
- Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation
- Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred
- BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required prior to start
- NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
