Job Summary:

The Rapid Response Nurse is a highly skilled clinician responsible for providing immediate, expert-level care to patients experiencing acute clinical deterioration outside of the ICU. This role is critical in preventing cardiac arrests, reducing unplanned ICU admissions, and improving patient outcomes through early intervention and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Education required and/or preferred:
Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.

Experience required or preferred:
Two years’ experience in Emergency Room, Intensive Care Nursing, or other prior experience at leadership discretion.

Skills, knowledge, and abilities:
Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage, and care of a critical patient.

Licensure/certification:
Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. BLS and ACLS required. CCRN and/or CEN required.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
