American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Gainesville, FL, requiring at least 2 years of experience with device implants and cardiac ablations.

• Located in the Cardiac Cath Lab (Unit 746) of a 510-bed acute care hospital in Gainesville, FL
• EP Lab staffing consists of 2 RNs and 3 CVTs
• Procedures performed include device implants, cardiac ablations, SVT/AFib ablations, and Watchman LAAO procedures
• Equipment includes GE Innova X-ray system, Merge, and GE Mac Lab Hemo System
• EMR/documentation system:
  Meditech
• Shift hours are 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• No floating required

• Active FL RN license or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)
• RCIS or RT(R)(CV) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Hands-on experience with device implants and cardiac ablations (SVT, AFib) required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required (Florida requirement)

• Responsibilities include assisting with and monitoring patients undergoing cardiac device implants, ablations, and Watchman LAAO procedures
• Hospital scrubs are provided
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
