The Oncology Infusion Nurse provides home health clinical services to oncology patients receiving infusion therapy in the home setting, ensuring the quality and adequacy of services provided. This role is responsible for ensuring that care is delivered appropriately and that standards of quality are adhered to.

- Perform care as defined by client's individual Plan of Care and within scope of state's nurse practice act
- Administer and monitor home infusion therapy for oncology patients, including chemotherapy and related treatments, per physician orders
- Monitor patient's condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes, including adverse reactions or infusion‑related complications
- Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill
- Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Counsel the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs
- Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required
- Peripheral IV start experience required
- IV port (CVAD) access and maintenance experience required
- Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required. Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical experience, with one (1) year experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility, preferred
- Clean background and criminal record
- Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
- Adheres to HIPAA and maintains client confidentiality
- Experience preferred: IV infusion therapy; injection and self‑infusion training; phlebotomy for adult and pediatric patients; chemotherapy/biotherapy administration; additional advanced nursing certifications (CRNI preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program
