RN Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg unit. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients requiring medical-surgical treatment and cardiac telemetry monitoring. This role involves patient assessments, medication administration, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient condition during admission and scheduled shifts, reporting any changes promptly
- Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms while providing appropriate nursing interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR system
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care
Unit & Shift Details:
45-bed Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg Unit
Patient ratio: 5:1 on days / 6:1 on nights
Available shifts:
Days & Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience & Licensure:
Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License required
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Open to candidates from Med-Surg, LTAC, Home Health, Rehab, SNF, and other RN backgrounds
Certifications:
BLS required within 30 days of employment
ACLS required within 90 days of employment
Additional Information:
Candidates must live within commutable distance from the facility
