Healthcare United is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join an established orthopedic and Neuro Spine practice in North Central Florida.
The Nurse Practitioner will work alongside experienced spine physicians in a collaborative outpatient environment. The practice has openings for both a clinic-focused provider and a provider interested in a combination of clinic and operating room responsibilities.
New graduates are welcome to apply, and experienced Nurse Practitioners with orthopedic, spine, neurosurgery, pain management, or surgical backgrounds are strongly encouraged.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and manage patients with spinal, orthopedic, and neurological conditions
- Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and follow-up visits
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Review diagnostic imaging, laboratory results, and treatment progress
- Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Assist with clinic procedures and surgical care based on experience and interest
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and recovery plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Manage an outpatient caseload of approximately 20 patients per day
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Florida APRN license or eligibility to obtain
- National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- New graduates with a strong interest in orthopedic and spine care are welcome
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- No visa sponsorship is available at this time
- Compensation ranging from $110,000 to $140,000 based on experience
- Bonus opportunity
- Monday through Friday schedule
