Days or Nights | 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. Hire Now Staffing is recruiting an experienced Neurology Registered Nurse for a direct-placement opportunity with an established hospital in Gainesville, Florida. This position requires a clinically confident nurse who can safely manage a demanding patient assignment in a fast-paced neurological care environment. Hire Now Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner.
The selected candidate will be employed directly by the hiring hospital.

- Local candidates within a reasonable commuting distance of Gainesville required
- Candidates living in Ocala will not be considered for this opening
- Relocation assistance may be considered individually
- Potential sign-on bonus of up to $10,000, subject to eligibility and employer approval
Base Hourly Compensation
- One year of experience: approximately $29.73 per hour
- Five years of experience: approximately $33.71 per hour
- Ten years of experience: approximately $37.75 per hour
- Seventeen years of experience: approximately $43.20 per hour
Shift Differentials
- Nights: $4.25 per hour
- Weekends: $3.00 per hour
- Weekend nights: up to $7.25 per hour
- Sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 may be available for eligible candidates through September 25
- Relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis
- All compensation, differentials, bonuses, and relocation benefits are subject to final employer approval
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
- Assess patient conditions and promptly communicate significant clinical changes.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor neurological status, vital signs, treatment responses, and potential complications.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, case managers, and other members of the care team.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Follow infection-prevention, patient-safety, and regulatory standards.
- Work effectively with patient assignments of up to seven patients per nurse.
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage and other scheduling needs.
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license:
- Multistate compact RN license, or
- Applicable Florida RN license
- Minimum of one year of professional RN experience
- Ability and willingness to work three 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends
- Comfort working with a nurse-to-patient ratio of up to 7:1
- Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of Gainesville
- No current or previous disciplinary action against any nursing license
- Ability to satisfy all employer credentialing, background, health, and onboarding requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Neurology, neuroscience, medical-surgical, telemetry, or comparable acute-care nursing experience
- Strong neurological assessment and patient-monitoring skills
- Current BLS certification
- Experience working in a fast-paced acute-care hospital
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
- Has at least one year of recent RN experience
- Holds a completely clear and unrestricted nursing license
- Are comfortable managing assignments of up to seven patients
- Can work days or nights and participate in rotating weekends
- Lives within commuting distance of Gainesville and is not located in Ocala
- Demonstrates stable employment, professionalism, and sound clinical judgment
- Can clearly explain their interest in neurology and this specific schedule
