Job Summary
We're seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in the Gainesville, FL field office for an established design/build construction firm with headquarters in FL. Responsible for the quality assurance processes, standards, and procedures through all phases of large construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with large commercial housing projects like apartments, hotels, dorms, etc., or experience with large industrial projects and/or commercial construction.
Location: Gainesville, Florida
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
Work Hours: 8am to 5pm
Education: Bachelors
- Develops and implements the quality management system for construction, ensuring all work meets quality requirements, client expectations, and regulatory standards.
- Audits design documents, reviews submittals and change orders.
- Conducts root cause analysis and implements corrective actions. Prepares quality reports for senior management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control within the construction industry, quality management systems, and auditing.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.
- Proven knowledge of construction processes, materials, codes, and standards.
