Overview
Senior Analytical Research Associate – Temp-to-Hire
The Analytical Support Group functions as a shared technical resource supporting analytical research and quantification needs across multiple technical study programs, while also providing analytical expertise to member organizations. The Senior Analytical Research Associate is a hands‑on laboratory professional responsible for executing complex analytical measurements, supporting cross‑program analytical needs, and ensuring strict adherence to QA/QC and safety standards. This role requires frequent collaboration with project leaders and technical staff, strong organizational skills, and deep expertise in chromatography‑based analytical methods.

- Employment Type: Temp‑to‑Hire
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift
- Pay Rate: $30‑40/hour
- Perform complex analytical testing using gas, liquid, and ion chromatography (GC, LC, IC) and wet chemistry methods following established QA/QC protocols
- Operate, maintain, and ensure readiness of analytical instrumentation
- Accurately record, analyze, and summarize experimental and analytical data
- Provide technical support and guidance to project leaders and laboratory staff
- Support multiple analytical programs concurrently while maintaining strong organization and time management
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety requirements and contribute to chemical hygiene and safety planning
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure data validity and integrity
- Communicate technical information clearly and respond to internal technical inquiries in a timely manner
- Support laboratory and field activities as required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on analytical laboratory experience with GC, LC, IC, and wet chemistry
- Strong understanding of QA/QC principles
, laboratory protocols, and safety practices - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks independently while exercising sound scientific judgment
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods in a laboratory environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and routinely handle laboratory materials, gas cylinders, and solvent containers
- Ability to work on‑site and travel to field locations as needed
