- Conduct routine and advanced research in cancer biology and experimental therapeutics. Research activities will involve basic molecular and cell biology experiments (cell culture, subcloning, qPCR, etc), and in vivo tumorigenesis experiments (tumor implantation, treatment, live animal imaging).
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, and prepare manuscripts.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students, collaborate with internal and external research partners, and maintain lab safety protocols.
- Assist with IACUC protocol submission and ensure compliance with institutional and federal regulations related to animal research and laboratory safety.
- Required:
Ph.D. degree in a relevant field. - Preferred:
Extensive experience in cancer biology research and therapeutics, cell cultures, subcloning, qPCR, in vivo tumor implantation and treatment, live animal imaging, analyzing and interpreting experimental data, IACUC protocols, and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
Expected Salary: $60,000 annually.
