Join a dynamic structural biology group at the Wertheim UF Scripps Institute, where we push the boundaries of molecular visualization and membrane biology. Our lab integrates cutting‑edge cryo
EM, membrane biophysics, and infection/immunity research to redefine how receptors such as integrins, GPCRs, and adhesion complexes are regulated. This position offers the opportunity to drive high‑impact projects, publish in top journals, and grow your expertise in method development and biological discovery.
• Drive high‑impact research projects and contribute to publications in leading journals.
• Assist in protein expression, purification, and biochemistry workflows.
• Operate and maintain cryo
EM (CRYOARM
300) and X‑ray crystallography equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across structural biology, chemical biology, and neuroscience.
• Support the use of high‑throughput screening and informatics tools for biomolecule discovery.
- High school students who are dual‑enrolled in college courses will be considered.
- Ability to work 15–20 hours per week.
- Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5.
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s program in an appropriate area of specialization.
$15.30 per hour.
