The Bai lab is seeking a highly motivated and creative postdoctoral fellow to join our research group. As a postdoctoral fellow, you will contribute to projects centered around modeling human diseases in the nematode model Caenorhabditis elegans. Current research focuses on unraveling disease genes associated with lipid droplets, lipid metabolism, development, germline development, and mechanotransduction. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to independently design and conduct experiments, and a strong publication record.
ExpectedSalary

Minimum RequirementsPh.D. or equivalent degree in genetics, cell biology, developmental biology, bioinformatics, or a related field.
Strong publication record demonstrating research productivity and independent experimental design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in genetics, genetics imaging, molecular biology techniques, and experience with CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing.
Prior experience working with
C. elegans.
