Responsibilities
  • Work on a project on a novel spatial omics platform development led by Dr. Fan Hong in the Department of Chemistry.
  • Develop DNA advanced imaging methods for spatial transcriptomics and proteomics.
  • Translate developed methods to study diseases such as Alzheimer's and cancer.
  • Contribute to the project as an OPS Research Assistant in Chemistry or Biology.
  • Position initially funded for one year with possible renewal contingent on performance and funds.
Qualifications
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemistry or a biology-related field.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and time-management skills.
Preferred
  • Protein conjugation chemistry
  • Fluorescent imaging
  • Cell culture experience
Compensation

Expected Salary: $15.00/hr
