Responsibilities

Work on a project on a novel spatial omics platform development led by Dr. Fan Hong in the Department of Chemistry.
Develop DNA advanced imaging methods for spatial transcriptomics and proteomics.
Translate developed methods to study diseases such as Alzheimer's and cancer.
Contribute to the project as an OPS Research Assistant in Chemistry or Biology.
Position initially funded for one year with possible renewal contingent on performance and funds.

Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemistry or a biology-related field.
Self-motivated with excellent communication and time-management skills.

Preferred

Protein conjugation chemistry
Fluorescent imaging
Cell culture experience

Compensation

Expected Salary: $15.00/hr
