Responsibilities- Work on a project on a novel spatial omics platform development led by Dr. Fan Hong in the Department of Chemistry.
- Develop DNA advanced imaging methods for spatial transcriptomics and proteomics.
- Translate developed methods to study diseases such as Alzheimer's and cancer.
- Contribute to the project as an OPS Research Assistant in Chemistry or Biology.
- Position initially funded for one year with possible renewal contingent on performance and funds.
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Chemistry or a biology-related field.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Protein conjugation chemistry
- Fluorescent imaging
- Cell culture experience
Expected Salary: $15.00/hr
