Job Title
Post-Doctoral Associate in Spatial Biology
LocationMain Campus, Gainesville, FL
Job DescriptionA post‑doctoral associate will work on spatial proteomics and transcriptomics within Dr. Fan Hong’s team in the Department of Chemistry. Responsibilities include
- Developing DNA‑based advanced imaging methods for spatial transcriptomics and proteomics.
- Translating these methods to study Alzheimer’s and cancer diseases.
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biology, or a closely related field.
- Strong self‑motivation, excellent communication, and time‑management skills.
- Experience with protein conjugation chemistry and DNA nanotechnology.
- Fluorescent imaging and cell culture experience.
- At least one first‑authored publication in a well‑regarded peer‑reviewed journal.
- Programming skills in MATLAB or Python.
- Experience with spatial multi‑omic image analysis.
