• Assist Research Regulatory Specialist in Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval functions, including creation of approval letters
• Maintain verbal and written communication with Principal Investigators regarding the status of pending protocols and review
• Assist in problem solving issues with study teams where feasible
• Act as liaison between reviewers and principal investigators
• Answer phones, emails, Salesforce queries
• Generate correspondence regarding research protocols
• Evaluate IRB proposals
• Other duties as assigned

Expected Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour; commensurate with education and experience

A high school diploma and five years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Tact in dealing with people
• Knowledge of UF IRB policy and procedures helpful

This is not a remote work position, and it is located on the University of Florida main campus in Gainesville, FL.
