Post Doctoral Associate – Gainesville, FL
Salary: $63,480 annually; commensurate with experience in accordance with NIH postdoctoral salary guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Multi-omics data analysis.
- Novel method development and application.
- Manuscript writing.
- Research presentation at conferences.
- Assistance with grant applications.
- Student mentoring.
- PhD degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, biomedical informatics, or related fields OR a PhD in biology or related fields.
- Strong background in programming (Python, R, or C++).
- Research experience utilizing programming, statistics, and AI.
- Independent and critical thinking; good communication skills.
- Prior research experience in analyzing biomedical data is preferred.
Postdoctoral associates are eligible for comprehensive health and leave benefits, access to libraries and other research resources, and may receive funds each training year to support professional development (e.g., travel to workshops or national conferences, purchase of education materials).
