Overview
The Assessment, Pain Intervention, and Resilience Laboratory in the Department of Community Dentistry and Behavioral Science at the University of Florida seeks a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join a research program focused on chronic pain, resilience, women’s health, and behavioral intervention development. The successful candidate will contribute to a growing portfolio of federally funded and emerging research projects examining biopsychosocial factors that influence pain and health outcomes, with an emphasis on resilience-promoting processes and the development and evaluation of behavioral interventions.
Responsibilities- Contribute to federally funded and emerging research projects examining biopsychosocial factors influencing pain and health outcomes.
- Develop, test, and evaluate behavioral interventions aimed at improving resilience and health outcomes.
- Engage in study design, data collection and analysis, scientific writing, and grant preparation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the publication of findings in peer‑reviewed journals.
- Seek opportunities to develop an independent program of research while contributing to ongoing projects.
- Ph.D. (or equivalent doctoral degree) in psychology, public health, behavioral science, epidemiology, health outcomes research, or a closely related field.
- Interest or experience in chronic pain research, women’s health, resilience, positive psychology, and clinical trial development is encouraged.
