- Job Title: Retail Store Visual Merchandiser

We are hiring for one of our clients, a well-established retail organization in the home furnishings sector. The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for creating and maintaining visually engaging store displays, layouts, and in-store presentation standards that enhance the customer shopping experience. This role works closely with store leadership to ensure merchandising strategies align with sales objectives and brand presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement visual merchandising strategies that support store sales targets and business objectives.
- Execute store layouts for furniture, lighting, accessories, and seasonal merchandise in line with visual guidelines.
- Regularly update and remerchandise displays, signage, and point-of-sale areas to optimize product presentation and sell-through.
- Perform floor moves and layout updates as required and communicate product changes to visual leadership.
- Maintain overall store appearance, including interior and exterior presentation, in coordination with warehouse and housekeeping teams.
- Support minor maintenance needs such as lighting, fixtures, paint, and flooring in collaboration with store management.
- Receive, unpack, tag, and place merchandise on the showroom floor in coordination with warehouse staff.
- Participate in scheduled inventory counts and loss prevention procedures.
- Ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards, including audio and visual presentation guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, promotions, store operations, and current design trends.
- Support and guide store associates on basic merchandising standards and visual maintenance practices.
- Coordinate regularly with store management regarding visual needs, incoming merchandise, and promotional materials.
- Perform additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must meet the minimum legal age requirement for employment.
- Minimum of two years of experience in retail visual merchandising; home furnishings experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise as required, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Associate degree in interior design, merchandising, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
