Body Shop Lot Porter Gainesville

Gainesville Collision Center is searching for Service Lot Porter(s). Our Lot Porters are responsible for taking care of the collision center lot, cars and customer cars, as well as driving the shuttle. Working in the elements, including rain, heat, wind, etc. Flexible schedule is required. MUST have valid driver’s license to do this job.

• Greet and welcome customers in a genuinely friendly and courteous manner.
• Ensure all vehicles are securely locked and keys are taken to the proper location in shop.
• Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner.
• Assist in moving disabled vehicles in or around the department.
• Operate the overhead doors as needed to assist customers or service employees and to maintain the best possible shop working environment.
• Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the cashier.
• Inspect each vehicle for lot damage that may have been done during the vehicle’s stay in the service department. Report any damage to management immediately.
• Prior to returning a completed vehicle to a customer, remove seat cover, steering wheel cover, floor mats and any and all tags installed for service.
• When delivering completed vehicles to their owners, thank them in a friendly and courteous manner and let them know we appreciate their business.
