OverviewWe are looking for a fast‑moving, customer‑focused Dispensary Associate to provide exceptional service and guidance for patients and consumers. The role requires knowledge of cannabis products, patient interaction, and compliance with state regulations.
Job Details- Job Title: Dispensary Associate – Part Time
- Reports To: General Manager
- FLSA Status: Regular Non‑Exempt
- Pay: $14.00 per hour (eligible for tips)
- Location: Retail Dispensary, Gainesville, Florida
- Remote Work: No
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
- Show empathy and compassion to patients.
- Deliver the Tru Experience through elevated patient service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
- Assist Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
- Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow Trulieve Policies and Procedures.
- Work directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist customers with any product or device issues.
- Work with leadership and management to find solutions to customer issues.
- Document customer issues and concerns in the customer's profile.
- Maintain a clean and well‑stocked workstation throughout the shift.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by Management.
- Assist with processing all online orders, including deliveries, within a 2‑hour timeframe.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 21 years of age (or 18 years in CT, PA, WV).
- Prior experience in retail and/or customer service preferred.
- Cash‑handling experience.
- Independent, self‑motivated, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent people skills and effective verbal and written communication.
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Ability to understand and follow written/oral instructions.
- Effective interaction with customers and team members.
- English proficiency to communicate with customers.
- Basic operation of electronic equipment (computer, laptop).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license (for delivery driver duties).
- Must possess the mental and physical capacities to perform job duties.
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that enable these senses adequately.
- Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people.
- Constantly move/traverse the facility and confined spaces.
- Manipulate objects up to 50 lbs, push/pull, lift, and carry.
- Ascend/descend stairs, ladders, or steps.
- Positions such as crouch, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
- Sometimes remain seated.
- Flexible hours depending on store needs.
- Available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Up to 25 hours per week and after‑hours based on business needs.
