Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organizational and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, support seasonal resets and installations when needed, and occasionally work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

• Your starting hourly pay rate is $14.00 to $16.00 depending on skills and experience.
• Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.
• Part‑time employees may be offered voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, etc.
• Employees are eligible for annual pay increases.
• This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours are 6–10.
• Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
• Support for seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory is required.

• Perform service work in Hallmark departments in various retail stores such as grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers.
• Day‑to‑day engagement: restock, organize, and monitor inventory using a mobile device. Communicate with supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys.
• Holiday support: work additional days and extended hours during the periods around Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May work on the holidays themselves.
• Department resets: assist with installations, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections, typically notified two weeks in advance.
• Support teammates as part of Hallmark’s field organization.

Requires high energy and urgency. Work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms. Must consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Must kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and step ladders throughout the workday.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi‑Fi network and internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
