Dispensary Associate – Part time

Location:

In‑Store (Onsite) – No remote work available.

Pay: $14.00 per hour, position eligible for tips.

FLSA Status: Regular Non‑Exempt

Position Summary

The Dispensary Associate guides customers through their cannabis journey by educating them on product benefits and potential side effects. The role involves providing expert product knowledge, facilitating compliant purchases, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
  • Show empathy and compassion to patients.
  • Provide the Tru Experience through elevated patient service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge.
  • Assist Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
  • Prepare and process patient orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Follow Trulieve Policies and Procedures.
  • Work directly with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience.
  • Assist customers with any product or device issues.
  • Collaborate with leadership and management to resolve customer issues.
  • Document customer issues and concerns on the customer's profile.
  • Maintain a clean and well‑stocked workstation throughout the shift.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by Management.
Additional Responsibilities as Delivery Associate (as needed)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
  • Follow all Trulieve Policies and Procedures as delivery associate.
Additional Responsibilities as Online Support (as needed)
  • Assist with processing all online orders, including deliveries, within a 2‑hour timeframe.
Skills and Qualifications
  • High‑school diploma or equivalent; experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum age 21 (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV).
  • Prior retail and/or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Prior cash handling experience.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent people skills and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, business sense, and professionalism.
  • Ability to understand and follow written/oral instructions.
  • Respectful and polite interaction with customers and team members.
  • Conversational English proficiency; ability to operate electronic equipment.
  • Physical and mental capacity to perform job duties.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record to fulfill delivery role.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to see, hear, or use prosthetics to meet role requirements.
  • Function independently with flexibility, integrity, and the ability to work with diverse personages.
  • Must be able to interact with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people in the facility.
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is: constantly required to move throughout the facility (including confined spaces), manipulate objects up to 50 pounds, ascend/descend stairs or ladders, crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, and occasionally maintain a seated position.

Work Schedule

Flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Position will work up to 25 hours per week and will be available "after hours" based on business needs.
