Looking for Outside Sales Reps in the Gainesville area!
Mr Greens has proudly grown into one of the largest privately-owned produce distributors in Texas and Florida. With deliveries 365 days a year, 7 days a week, and multiple runs per day, Mr Greens has set the gold standard for service. Mr Greens serves a large variety of clients, including restaurants, hotels, country clubs, caterers, grocery stores, and retail outlets.
- Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Focus sales efforts by studying the existing and potential volume of accounts.
- Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, and product uses.
- Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel.
- Submit activity and results reports such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Stay up to date on trends by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommend changes in products, services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to the management team.
- Attend and participate in sales and district meetings.
- Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary, working with the credit department and client; collect all balances due based on approved credit terms.
- Coordinate with the Transportation department to prepare client delivery windows and troubleshoot order challenges (out-of-stock items, special orders, low inventory, etc.).
- Review and analyze daily and weekly reports such as special-order requests, customer bid files, and sales/gross profit margin data.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements
- At least 2 years of outside B2B sales experience in the Food and/or Produce Industry.
- High school diploma required.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Proficiency in basic PC skills, including Excel and MS Outlook.
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
- Must reside in the Gainesville area.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
Physical Demands & Work Conditions:
The physical demands of this role include driving, sitting, standing, walking, and using hands for computer and phone work. Occasionally, lifting/moving up to 20 pounds is required.
