Overview
GPAC has partnered with a well-known and reputable nationwide chemical, fertilizer, and seed company that is looking to add a Florida-based Experienced Retail Sales Agronomist to their team. They offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes a base salary, commissions/bonuses, health insurance, a company vehicle (can be used for personal use), 401K, PTO, and more.
Responsibilities- Make fertilizer, chemical, and seed recommendations to growers and farmers
- Maintain current business and facilitate new positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote repeat business
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions
- Forecast supply requirements by month and on an annual basis
- Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently
- Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology
- 5+ years of agronomy sales related experience
- Must be driven, self-motivated, and have a proven track record of job stability
- Well established relationships with growers in the region or a book of business
- A degree in Agriculture
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Have a valid U.S. driver s license
- Able to provide professional references
- Must currently reside within 100 miles of Central Florida (out of area candidates will not be considered)
