Job Description
The Direct Sales Agent Specialist is responsible for profitable growth and attainment of business goals by driving new business sales and understanding customers’ needs to build rapport and trust. The role involves attracting and generating new customers, cross‑selling existing customers, and building and retaining a book of business within the market or retail location. Activities include selling to walk‑in customers, marketing products through calls and in‑person visits to create community relationships, and assisting customers in the office.

- 0–2 years of experience.
- P&C licensing (preferred) or ability to attain required licensure within 90 days of joining.
- Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products.
- Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales and cross‑sell/retention of customers.
- Leverages community contacts to build a sales pipeline and maintains an active physical presence in the community.
- Initiates outbound calling to a target customer base for product offerings.
- Monitors key competitors in the local market and proposes initiatives to improve market position.
- Collaborates with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes.
- Delivers optimal results across quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance while complying with all rules and standards.
- Stays current on company underwriting guidelines and updates.
- Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies cash drawer reports.

CompensationBase compensation: $20.00 per hour. Total compensation may include incentive pay, such as commissions and bonuses, based on individual and team performance.
